Local rock heroes Liquid Sand will be releasing their latest EP, “This Goodbye,” at The Caterie on March 11. “This Goodbye” marks a turning point for the band musically and professionally. Liquid Sand has been touring the Gulf Coast for 5 years and as a result has gathered a following of loyal fans as well as the respect of many bands on the same circuit. And with the release of this album, the circuit will grow as the troubadours begin performing more in Atlanta and as far away as New York. Front man Rhett Mouton speaks of the group as seasoned rockers with plenty of road experience. If you ask Mouton, you get the idea that the group is a finely tuned musical machine. He gives most of the credit for the album’s crisp production to that experience.
