Thank you for posting this sight. I am concerned about a friend from Baton Rouge. Is the damage from hurricane Katrina severe? How did Baton Rouge hold up? Hope all is well and the entire country is praying for all of you.

How did Baton Rouge fair? I know some people that I can't get a hold of and am worried about them. Hope the city held up and everyone is alive and safe.

Baton Rouge is just fine especially compared to New Orleans.

We're dry. We just don't all have electricity.

Lot of debris to clean up. Lots of trees down. (some on powerlines)

Everyone SHOULD have power by the end of Saturday is what Entergy (the electric company) is saying. I'm still out of power. Sad

Cell phones aren't working very well.
I'm lucky if I can receive or call people.

If you want to, post the names of the people you're looking for and someone that knows them might see this post or they (the people you're looking for) might find the post and let you know they're doing ok. Or I can do a little research to find out about them for you since I'm in town.

hey every one... my heart and prayers is going out to every one that had a part of this horror hurricane.. im in hope that someone could please help me make sure a dear friend of mine and her family has pulled through this ok.. her family and her lives right there in baton rouge off of wayne drive.. there last name is nelson...Any info in letting me know how they are fairing will be highly appreciated.... thanks, from a very concern and dear person from wilmington north carolina
